Meeting: November 8, 2017

We switched our meeting to Wednesday night this month so our meeting did not conflict with Annie's parent conferences. Ellen hosted a delightful meeting providing delicious soup and salad, and her now famous apple pie. Annie, Christe, Ellen, Linda, Jo, Judy, Kathy, and Nanc attended. Annie had us all laughing with an anecdote from conferences the previous night, which gave Christe the opportunity to mention the urban dictionary definition of crop dusting.

It was dark when we walked to Ellen's, so I'm substituting this sunrise water view photo instead

I love us!! So fun, as always. Feels so good to laugh and to share (and to talk at least a little bit about the book we've read!) with such beautiful women. Thanks for the delicious food and hospitality, Ellen!
~ Annie Larkin

“If I die, don't take this too hard," she counseled them, "death is only part of things bigger than we can imagine. Our brains are just starting the greatness, to learn how to do things like flying. What next? You will see, and you will see that your mother is of the design. And I will always be made of things, and things will always be made of me. Nothing can get rid of me because I am already included into the pattern." ~ Louise Erdrich
Feeling like Annie. What a wonderful group with whom to relax, laugh and share! 💚
~ Kathy Day-Carey

Thanks Ellen for a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the company was, also, delicious!😊
~ Judy Lee
