Meeting: November 11, 2021

We had a delightful gathering around the fire pit at Christe's on a blustery afternoon to discuss The Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. Christe built a toasty fire and provided homemade vegan cookies. Annie, Christe, Ellen, Jo, Judy, Linda, and Nanc attended. We decided to plan a December outdoor fire gathering with the spouses. We didn't set a date, but instead thought we'd watch the weather forecast once we're in December and pick a day that seemed the best weather-wise.

I found the book to be very interesting. The bottom line seems to be money, politics, and covering up the truth have been with us forever...longer than the Osage Indian story...and today, as well. The book was "a good read"! Hi to the other hardy souls!
